You might be forgiven for believing Margaret Feinberg’s focus on joy is a personality trait. She is, after all, the creator of several coloring books for adults.

Whatever suffering or trial you are facing today might not seem best addressed by line drawings and coloring supplies. But Margaret is well versed in contending for joy. Diagnosed with aggressive cancer, she learned, along with her husband, that “a hospital waiting room could be transformed into a place of praise.”

Margaret Feinberg is living evidence for her statement that “you will become what you proclaim.” At Foursquare Connection 2016 in Honolulu, she shared her own story and equipped everyone attending with three ways to live a defiant joy. She also shared practical wisdom on how to love and care for others when they are going through intense suffering.

So, whether you are the one in the trial, or walking with someone who is, you’re invited to join the party where joy is the weapon, and God is up to something good.
