Watch a brief greeting from Pastor Randy about this year’s minister credential renewal
Each year, autumn evokes a renewed sense of gratitude, and it’s with thankful hearts that our Foursquare family thinks of you! Thank you for your unwavering faithfulness to God’s call, to His kingdom, and to the stewardship of His ministry.
Our Centennial Foursquare Connection in Anaheim, Calif., was characterized by a renewed sense of celebration and commitment to pursuing our shared mission together. What a joy it is to see how many leaders continue to pursue the high calling (Phil. 3:14), marked by Jesus, as entrusted ministers of the gospel. We are truly witnessing more and growing leaders together on mission—leaders who are the hands and feet of Jesus (Isa. 52:7), sacrificially serving all who need the Good Shepherd (John 10). Thank you!
The Healthy Culture Task Force has provided a comprehensive overview of the work done to foster transparency, trust and safe environments both for ministers and the congregations they serve. The full report is now available on Foursquare’s dedicated webpage.
This report describes new measures that will be put in place to ensure that all credentialed ministers are aware of the important information contained in the new Handbook for Responding to Clergy Misconduct. In future years, ministers will be asked to complete an awareness training (online or in hosted sessions) to affirm their understanding of the expanded procedures outlined in the handbook. As an interim step, the 2024 credential renewal process will begin with an expanded list of declarations, where each credentialed minister will affirm their ability to access these materials and their understanding of critical information.
Please note that these declarations must be completed before the credential renewal fee can be paid. Once the declarations have been completed, credentialed ministers will have the option to pay online, by mail or have an authorized church user pay on their behalf in The Hub database.
Starting early November, email invitations will be sent from The Hub with a link to login and complete the online declarations, which will also be included with mailed invoices. Please note that all payments must be completed electronically or mailed and postmarked by December 15, to be eligible for the earlybird renewal fee of $250.
