Foursquare Connection 2009—under the theme “Wide Open” and taking place in Anaheim, Calif., May 25-29—will give pastors an open door to meeting and conversing with their new district supervisors during special district meetings. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from the supervisor of their particular district and to discover what lies ahead for ministry in their region.
Also new this year are four-day advanced learning tracks to complement various leadership pursuits, including optional certification in church and leadership health, global missions, worship, and children and youth. Sign up for one of the 10 learning tracks when you register to attend Foursquare Connection. Learning tracks take place Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, May 29. If you wish to receive certification, you must complete the track of your choice.
Important update: The evening youth service on Tuesday, May 26, and Wednesday, May 27, will now take place at The Rock in Anaheim. Transportation will be provided for those who are registered for the youth program during convention. Also, four nights of J12 evening encounters will take place at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel. Make sure your kids and teens are registered for the exciting activities planned for them in Anaheim!
Convention this year also gives those attending a great venue for gathering with colleagues to catch up and for sparking new friendships. In addition to dozens of vendors and sponsors with resources to facilitate effective ministry, the exhibit hall will highlight stage performances and live music with Foursquare artists. Snacks will be on hand for purchase, and a free Internet Kiosk and Late Night Café will be available. Prize drawings will also take place multiple times each day.
