During the month of December, Foursquare saw four church openings in the U.S. In addition, four churches were permanently closed, and nine Foursquare pastors retired. Nine senior pastors were appointed to existing Foursquare churches in the U.S., and one church celebrated its 75th anniversary.

There are now 1,823 Foursquare churches in the U.S., with 6,812 credentialed ministers serving at churches and in the field.

For the 2010 calendar year, Foursquare opened 58 churches, including 10 simple churches (house churches). There were 94 churches permanently closed. (Churches are not permanently closed until assets are sold or transferred.)
