The Foursquare Church is coming to Washington, D.C. This year’s annual convention will be held at the Hilton Washington Hotel on May 29-June 1 and has the theme “Your Kingdom Come-In Word and In Power.”

“Could I suggest that our late-spring gathering in Washington, D.C., has been choreographed at this hour and in that place as a means of helping us deepen our sense of how pivotal the people of God are in determining world affairs,” says Foursquare president Jack Hayford. “As your servant, reaching to encourage you in all your tasks, and as your companion in prayer and ministry, I want to urge you to plan on Convention ’06.”

Convention attendees can expect a host of guest speakers including Daniel Brown, Dr. Lloyd Ogilvie, Kimberly Dirmann, Nate Poetzl, Amos Dodge, Robert Stearns, Kenneth Ulmer, John Mazariegos and Jack W. Hayford.

This year’s convention will include music and worship by The Newsboys, the Newsong Christian Worship Team, Steve Amerson, an urban praise team from D.C area Foursquare churches and a special performance by actor Dean Jones.

The early bird registration deadline is March 15, 2006 and offers more than a 25 percent discount from the regular rate. The pre-convention registration deadline is April 15 and the last chance to receive a discount on convention rates. Register early and save.

The Hilton Washington Hotel has sold out all rooms under the convention block. Please check for availability at the Hilton Washington periodically for any cancellations if you would like to try to reserve a room at the convention hotel.
