Boldly penetrating the darkness

Randy Remington talks about boldly penetrating the darkness. (46 minutes)

The Christian life is a high calling. We are to walk in the light and shine God’s light in a dark place.

But sometimes the sin within us, the brokenness of the world around us, and the spiritual forces that oppose God work to convince us that our light is faltering and ineffective.

These are the smoke-and-mirror tactics of an already defeated enemy. Sometimes, we just need the clarity of God’s Word delivered through a compassionate and confident messenger to clear away the illusion.

At Foursquare Connection 2016 in Honolulu, Randy Remington, senior pastor of Beaverton Foursquare Church in Beaverton, Ore., brought hope and assurance to the Foursquare family. We have a vital task to accomplish. Randy urged us, “The church is the only entity given the authority and power to deliver people, and we can’t abdicate that.”
