To be an active follower of Christ in South Asia is dangerous. “There isn’t just a passive disapproval; there is an active hostility,” as one pastor comments. “The darkness is real.” But there also is a light shining through, reaching people with the life-changing power of the gospel.

Risking it all in South Asia

From this region comes a story of the amazing work that God accomplishes when His people are not afraid to follow His call. Those serving here—sent from the U.S. as well as local leaders—have incredible stories to tell, and an even more incredible vision for the future of their nations.

In this video, which debuted at Foursquare Connection 2019 in Nashville, Tenn., hear the love and the courage of Foursquare workers and pastors in a hostile region. What’s more, you’ll see the new life that comes from courageous obedience, how a heart to say yes to Jesus brings unreached people to know Him, even in the world’s most difficult-to-reach regions.

This video has been modified from its original version for online publication to protect the identities of those who serve in the region.
