Letters to The Foursquare Church – Part 1
A letter to The Foursquare Church inspired by the words of 1 Corinthians 12:12. As Foursquare enters a new century as a movement, we are called to unity—one body, each of us a part. We’re reminded that each part is indispensable to the whole. This tapestry of gifts within our community was not woven by chance but by design, equipping us perfectly for the mission of evangelizing and making disciples. In a world that is deeply hurting, our mission today is more vital than ever. We step into our mission united, with eyes fixed on Jesus, the One who is the same yesterday, today and forever. Letters to The Foursquare Church – Part 2
Dear Foursquare: Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. The second letter for our movement is inspired by the words of 2 Timothy 2. May our new century as a movement be marked by a commitment and passion to build relationships with the next generation of leaders, shepherding them for missional opportunities at home and worldwide. We’re reminded that as leaders, educators and church communities, we are called to sow the seeds of the gospel in everything we do. Be strengthened and encouraged by the truth that the gates of hell cannot prevail against the church of Jesus Christ. (3 minutes)
Letters to The Foursquare Church – Part 3
“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” (Eph. 4:11-12, ESV). The final letter to The Foursquare movement as we enter a new century reminds us of our essential mission to cultivate leaders and communities deeply rooted in Scripture, led by the Holy Spirit and committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ. The heart of our mission lies in our church planting movement with missionary workers called, equipped and on mission to make disciples, establish indigenous churches and raise up leaders that carry God’s mission forward. Let us be encouraged by the work being done and inspired by the work still needed. We are a movement, united in our mission to see the world transformed by the love of Jesus Christ. (3 minutes)
