The Central District’s Tuesday Tune Ups offer practical, tangible and immediately actionable training content for pastors and leaders in Central District. The content of these calls is for those in any type of role in the local church context (lead pastor, asst. minister, non-licensed ministry leader, emerging leader, NextGen, Women’s etc.).
On this call, Andy Millar and guests share insights on Multiethnic Ministry.
The church is called to be a reflection of God’s diverse kingdom. However, navigating multiethnic ministry comes with unique opportunities and challenges. How can we create a culture of belonging in our churches? How do we foster unity while celebrating diversity? In this conversation, Andy and other guests will share key principles for developing multiethnic ministry, engaging diverse communities, and strengthening leadership within a multiethnic church context.
Andy Millar serves the Central District as the Multiethnic Coordinator and is responsible for the identification, recruitment and development of the immigrant and non-majority culture churches and leaders within the district’s geography.
Andy Millar was born to missionary parents and grew up in Ethiopia. He and his wife, Donna, planted Light of the Nations (Denver Foursquare Church), a multiethnic church in Denver, CO, where Andy serves as senior pastor. Prior to that, he completed a Master of Divinity from The King’s Seminary and served a Foursquare church in Littleton, Colo., for 20 years.
