The Foursquare community came together in Northern Colorado this week for a time of worship and to unite in our focus for the next five years.

Foursquare Connection 2025 convened in Denver at the Gaylord Rockies Resort + Convention Center, May 26-29, 2025. More than 2,800 adults were on the premises, with another 533 kids and youth taking part in the NextGen programming, providing a unique Connection experience for the future generation. Guests came from 46 states and 42 countries to worship together, pray together and laugh together.

President Randy Remington, whose second five-year term will begin on Sept. 1, 2025, unpacked three prophetic imperatives that The Foursquare Church will be focusing on for his next term:

President Randy Remington speaks at Foursquare Connection 2025.
  • Pursuing His presence, encouraging every Foursquare pastor and every member of a Foursquare church to draw nearer to God. (Exodus 33:14-16)
  • Passing the flame, enabling every generation to complete their God-given call and mission, with a special call on the “older generation” to stay engaged with the “younger generation.” (Numbers 27:15-19)
  • Possessing the land, boldly moving into the enemy’s territory as we seek to expand the kingdom of God. (Numbers 13:30-33)

“I want it to be heard of The Foursquare Church that ‘God is with them,’” said Pastor Randy. “This is why, without the supernatural, we will be a superficial church. We must be on our faces contending for nothing but His presence.” Rewatch Randy’s full talk online

Each evening, intentional ministry time was spent praying for each other, repenting and asking for healing. The altar was flooded with those seeking the throne.

In addition to Pastor Randy’s message, the following speakers brought encouragement and shed light on navigating pastoral challenges.

  • Elwin Ahu
  • Grant Bruscoe
  • Fernando Ecija (Conexión Hispana)
  • Martín Ruarte
  • Natalie Runion
  • Nakisha Wenzel
Worship during Connection 2025 was powerful.

More connection moments

Many found opportunities to connect with old friends and meet new ones.

Foursquare Connection is much more than the general sessions, with plenty of time set aside for connecting. Church planters got together over s’mores; a packed-out room of female leaders worshipped together; workshops taught practical tips to local ministers; young leaders had two occasions to come together to learn from each other and grow together; and many kicked off the day with Foursquare Fitness or prayer with Pastor Randy. In addition, Conexión Hispana brought together Hispanic leaders and those looking to serve Spanish-speaking people in their area, while Multiethnic Connections brought together new and old friends alike.

The business of Foursquare

During Foursquare Connection, credentialed ministers and voting delegates reviewed proposed bylaw amendments and covenant agreement amendments. After the board of directors and Foursquare executive team took the time to answer questions and listen to feedback from the convention body, the covenant agreement amendment did not pass, nor did the presidential selection bylaw amendment. All other amendments passed.

An updated bylaw document that includes the newly passed verbiage, in English and in Spanish, will be available on the Foursquare Business page this summer.

The Annual Report, which celebrated highlights and stories of how the Lord is using The Foursquare Church, was also presented to the convention body. Review the Annual Report here.

In addition, the NextGen Team announced during the business session that the fully updated Child + Youth Protection Manual, training video and additional resources will be released on July 1. A link will be sent to all credentialed ministers as soon as those are available, and will also be added to the NextGen webpage.

Foursquare Missions offering

This year, the Foursquare Missions offering focused on bringing Jesus to unreached people, with a special focus on displaced people. Thanks to the generous donations of local Foursquare churches and leaders, more than $100,000 has been raised so far to shine the light of Christ into the darkest places and transform lives for eternity. It’s not too late to partner with FMI to bring Jesus to unreached people. Donations are being accepted through June 6 at FoursquareMissions.org
