The Department of Urban and Multicultural Ministries looks forward to the gathering of close to 200 leaders serving the city at the upcoming Urban Impact Conference.

Urban Impact is a one-day conference, which will be held after this year’s annual convention on Friday, June 2, 2006 at the convention hotel in Washington, D.C. This conference will bring together leaders serving the city and will focus on building relationships, hearing what God is doing in our cities and identifying ways to serve our urban leaders more efficiently. We will begin the day at 8:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast and will conclude at 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

Workshops will include:

  • Church Planting in the Urban Context
  • Building AIDS/HIV and Addiction Recovery Centers
  • Raising Support
  • In the City–Outside the Box
  • Packaging Your Vision

Registration is still open for those wanting to attend. There is no cost; however, you must register. Registration information is available online.
