Please join us in celebrating all God did at Northwest District collaborative camps!

This summer, churches across the Northwest District prayed, planned and partnered to create spaces for kids and youth to encounter Jesus—and they did! We saw salvations, rededications, healings, miracles, baptisms and ministry callings. From third graders to seniors, students worshiped, prayed, laughed, forgave and found freedom in Jesus’ name.

Lila, a senior and reluctant leader at her youth group, experienced a breakthrough and found freedom in accepting and embracing who God created her to be. Before camp, she was struggling with a difficult home life and turning to substances to cope with her pain. One evening at camp, she asked her leader for prayer, shared her struggles and allowed Jesus to release her hurt. She rededicated herself to Jesus, asking Him to lead her so she could confidently lead others.

Juda, a middle school student, felt God was speaking directly to him as another middle schooler prayed over the group at the end service. He shared that God told him he is loved, he belongs to God and that He will be with him when he goes home and to school. Initially at camp, Juda’s behavior was challenging. However, after that prayer, “Juda became a different kid.” He began sharing and participating with his leaders and cabinmates.
We declare every camper God’s beloved child—created, called and commissioned to love Him and others. Join us in proclaiming victory over this generation!
If you have a camp story from this summer email me, Lori Snyder (District NextGen Coordinator) at lsnyder@foursquare.com—we’d love to hear your story.
