On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Executive Team of The Foursquare Church, President Jack W. Hayford and General Supervisor/Vice President Glenn Burris, Jr., are pleased to announce the appointment of Rev. Rick Trimble to the position of administrator of the Foursquare Pacific Administrative Resource Center, effective January 3, 2006. Rick will fill the position vacated by Rev. Dan Ussery when he was appointed as chief information technologies officer at the Foursquare Central Offices in Los Angeles.
Rick was raised in southern Oregon and attended the Medford, Ore. Foursquare church until moving to northern California in 1968, where he married his wife, Kathi. For 17 years Rick worked in the field of technology and at age 30 responded to the call of God to prepare for pastoral ministry.
After graduating from Zion School of Ministry at the Danville, Calif. Foursquare church, Rick and his wife Kathi were sent to help pioneer a church in Pleasanton, Calif. In 1985, the Trimbles went on staff as assistant pastors and were appointed as senior pastors of the Pleasanton church in 1992.
In 1996, Rick was asked to serve as the district administrator for the Western District of Foursquare Churches, helping to oversee some 200 churches in three states. In 2003, Rick and Kathi returned to their home church in Danville, to serve as the district administrator for the newly formed Bay Area District of Foursquare Churches and as senior associate pastor at East Bay Fellowship.
His sincerity for pastoral care and his intuitive administrative skill combine to make Rick well-qualified to assume the duties as administrator of the Pacific Administrative Resource Center. Rick’s passion for the Lord is demonstrated through his concern for people and the details that affect their lives and ministries.
Rick and Kathi are the parents of two adult daughters and grandparents of a12-year-old grandson. Among his many accomplishments, Rick is also a licensed general aviation pilot.
