The Foursquare Church will devote considerable time with the book of Acts in 2011, and President Glenn Burris Jr. believes the time spent will strengthen Foursquare leaders around the world.

“I encourage every leader to personally reconnect with the book of Acts,” he says, “and rediscover what God is saying to The Foursquare Church for this season of our life in the Spirit.”

Pastors and leaders are encouraged to read a chapter a day from the book of Acts and repeat the process each month throughout 2011. Weekly Foursquare Leader Prayer will emphasize specific themes from Acts and help focus our collective prayer for pastors, missionaries, national leaders and ministers worldwide.

Downloadable FMI Monthly Prayer Guides are also available online for leaders who wish to pray more specifically for Foursquare Missions International personnel by name and region of the world.

“I can’t wait to discover together, by the power of the Spirit, the Lord’s plan that He will unveil to a church that is unwavering in its pledge to win the world at any cost,” Glenn affirms.

Foursquare Connection 2011 will also emphasize the book of Acts with the convention theme, “Accelerate—The Whole Gospel to the Whole World.” Foursquare leaders from around the world convene in Columbus, Ohio, May 30–June 2.
