On September 14-16, 2006 history will be made as the Urban & Multicultural Department kicks off the first National Hispanic Leadership Conference at La Iglesia en el Camino (The Church on the Way) in Van Nuys, Calif.

Sign up before August 25th to receive the amazing price of $50 per individual or $75 per couple. Group discounts are also available. Register online at or call (213) 989-4356.

The theme for this event is “Potencia Hispana, Convirtiéndonos de Campo a Fuerza.” Roughly translated it means, “Hispanic Force–from Field to Force.” The event is significant because it is the first time Foursquare’s Spanish speaking leaders will be coming together from different parts of the world to gather for a major conference in the United States. It will be a time for discipleship, encouragement, strategic focusing and fellowship.

Confirmed speakers are:

  • Dr. Jack Hayford – President of The Foursquare Church, United States
  • Dr. Jim Tolle – Senior Pastor of The Church on the Way, Van Nuys, Calif.
  • Rev. Misael Argenal – Senior Pastor of the Harvest Ministries, Honduras
  • Dr. Serafin Contreras – Regional Coordinator for Foursquare Central America
  • Rev. Kimberly Dirmann – Senior Pastor of the Foursquare Church of Anaheim, Anaheim, Calif.
  • Rev. Jeff Tolle – Youth Pastor of La Iglesia en el Camino, Van Nuys, Calif.

Pastor Jack Hayford remarked recently that this event further represents our coming together to bridge the gap of where we are and where we want to be, doing so not out of the pain of our past, but stepping out in the faith of our future. The Urban & Multicultural Department believes ‘touch a city, and you will touch the world’ and this conference will further that effort.

Please urge all leaders in your circle that are Spanish speaking or have a ministry to a Spanish speaking community to attend this event. English translation services will be available to accommodate non-Spanish speaking leaders with a desire to reach Spanish-speaking communities. Encourage others to make a mark in history by participating in this first-ever conference.

Remember to register before August 25th to receive discounted pricing! More information about the National Hispanic Leaders Conference is available online, including hotel accommodations, registration and travel information.
