Through a recent survey sent to all Foursquare credentialed ministers via email, we learned about changed lives, recommitments to the Lord, and well-executed outreaches that served local communities well. Pastors also shared what they personally learned through this Easter sesdf ason, and sent photo to share with the Foursquare community.

In Your Words

Pastors shared with us three words that best described their Easter weekends. The most popular words included: fun, powerful, encouraging and transformational. The individual words that leaders submitted comprise the “Easter” graphic below.

Your Stories

We received dozens of stories of healings, unique outreaches, and how the Lord touched ministers personally during this Easter season. Here are just a few of our favorite stories:

“We are a 14-week-old church plant, and we had 365+ in attendance with 43 salvations. One man, who I’ve invited over and over, just emailed me this past week to tell me that he has never felt ‘reached’ by the church, and he wasn’t sure he would ever come to our church. Today, he stood and prayed for salvation in front of his wife and kids!” —Bill Rose, senior pastor of Oasis Church (Holly Springs Foursquare Church) in Holly Springs, N.C.

“The main thing I got out of this season was God’s unfailing love for us. What Jesus did on the cross became more real to me as I reflected on His steps to the cross. I felt overwhelming love as I reflected on how much He took on for each and every one of us. No matter how good or bad we are, He died for all of us. He loves us just because He created us. He died so we could be restored to the Father.” —Wendy Haynes, co-pastor of New Life Community Church (Manchester Foursquare Church in Manchester, N.H.

Easter at Wilmington Foursquare Church“Early Easter morning, The Lord prompted my husband that our Easter service would be different than we planned. We went out, purchased Easter flowers, hurriedly made homemade Easter cards, then drove around our neighborhood and blessed some of our neighbors. The recipients were surprised and responded so joyfully that we gave them flowers. We pray God continues to show us creative ways to touch the hearts of others.” — Monica Cerezo, co-pastor of Wilmington Foursquare Church in Wilmington, Del.

“We joined together with multiple other churches for a Good Friday outreach in the park. A gentleman by the name of Keith Wheeler joined us. He has carried the cross all around the world for the past 29 years. As the worship team was worshiping, he came into the park after carrying the cross through the city by foot. It was a powerful moment. The Lord was glorified, and it was wonderful to unify with other churches.” —Scott Ingegneri, senior pastor of Grace North Church (Anthem Foursquare Church) in Anthem, Ariz., and Grace North East Campus in Gilbert, Ariz.

“You can practice and practice, but the anointing of God is what changes everything!” —Angela Dollar, worship pastor at Restoration (Huntsville Foursquare Church) in Huntsville, Ala.
