On Saturday, April 5, some 5,500 participants gathered in more than 200 Foursquare locations across the U.S., joining together in corporate worship and receiving practical ministry insights during the nationwide satellite broadcast of That Your Glory May Be Seen!

Sponsored by The Foursquare Church and Maranatha!, the five-hour event featured corporate worship and interviews with Foursquare President Jack Hayford, worship leader/songwriter Tommy Walker and pastoral team members from Christian Assembly in Los Angeles, and Darlene Zschech, whose ministry with Hillsong Music Australia is known worldwide. Each leader shared valuable insights, ranging from the role of worship in the church today, to the role of worship in spiritual warfare, to the dynamics of relationship between worship leaders and church leadership.

“What an awesome day we had here in High Point,” said Terry Austin, senior pastor of High Point Foursquare Church in High Point, N.C. “Words were spoken that truly will change our church forever. It was incredible that we could ‘spend time’ with Pastor Jack, the Christian Assembly team and Darlene Zschech.”

Jason Reynolds, senior pastor of Hillcrest Community Church in Newton, Kan., concurred. “We were very blessed by the broadcast,” he said. “It was great teaching and a practical look at the ministry of worship.”

On October 26, 2008, Foursquare Live! will present its second Foursquare Family Prayer Gathering. This hour-long, free-of-charge broadcast will be geared for local church congregations. More information will be available online in the coming months.
