Throughout the history of God’s people, there are moments when the Lord invites us to recognize not only where He is leading us, but also whom He is raising up for the journey ahead. It is with deep gratitude, confidenc and anticipation that I announce the appointment and board of directors’ confirmation of Kimberly Dirmann as the next General Supervisor/Vice President of The Foursquare Church, effective Sept. 1, 2026.
Leadership transitions are never just organizational decisions. They are opportunities to recognize God’s faithfulness across generations. As we continue our pursuit of making disciples, multiplying leaders and churches and sending and partnering internationally, we need leaders who embody both the heart of a shepherd and the courage of a pioneer. Kimberly is that kind of leader.
For more than 40 years, Kimberly has faithfully served Jesus and His Church in nearly every expression of ministry. She co-founded The Rock (Anaheim Foursquare Church) in Anaheim, Calif., and has been serving as senior pastor with Jerry, her husband of 39 years. Kimberly has invested in students, pastors, churches, women in ministry and leaders throughout our movement and beyond. She has led locally, regionally and nationally, with a commitment to seeing people flourish in their calling.
Kimberly is a bilingual communicator who was born and raised in Colombia, South America, until she was 10 years old. Spanish is her first language. Her mother is the daughter of Foursquare Missions International workers who served in the area, and her father is a Colombian native.
Some know Kimberly through her years serving as Southwest District Supervisor, where she faithfully cared for pastors and churches across four states. Others know her through her leadership of Foursquare Women International and her consistent prophetic voice that champions the next generation, including her Centennial message that helped launch Foursquare into the next century. Wherever God has placed her, she has demonstrated wisdom, humility, relational strength and a commitment to the mission of Jesus Christ.
As I shared recently at Foursquare Connection, one of my commitments moving forward is to increase pastoral care at every level of our movement. Healthy churches are built by healthy leaders who know they are seen, valued, encouraged and equipped. Kimberly has spent decades living that conviction. She leads with presence before process, relationship before structure and with the mission before her.
I have every confidence that Kimberly will serve our pastors, districts, regions and churches with integrity, discernment and a deep dependence on the Holy Spirit. She joins an exceptional One Team that is committed to more and growing leaders together on mission.
Please join me in praying for Kimberly, for Jerry and for their family (their three adult children and eight grandchildren) as they step into this new assignment. Pray for The Rock as Kimberly steps away from the day-to-day responsibilities of senior pastor and into this new role. Pray for wisdom, strength and fresh anointing. Pray also that, together, we would continue to become the movement God is calling us to be—a people marked by courage, unity, generosity and devotion to Jesus.
The work before us is significant, but so is the faithfulness of our God.
I am grateful that Kimberly starts this new journey with us on Sept. 1, and I look forward to serving with her in the days ahead.
