The Foursquare Church is in Washington, D.C., for the annual convention from May 29-June 1. More than 3,000 people are expected for this year’s convention, which has the theme “Your Kingdom Come–In Word and In Power.”

“Let’s not only visit Washington, let’s bless Washington!” says Foursquare President Jack Hayford. “Put on your Joshua shoes. Seeing sights and visiting famous locations, enjoy yourself, but do more: consciously bless this city! Deposit grace and prayer ‘everywhere the sole of your foot shall tread.’ As we convene, broaden your circle of acquaintance: meet, greet and establish new relationships and deepen existing ones. These are great days of fellowship!”

Convention speakers include Foursquare President Jack Hayford, former Chaplain of the U.S. Senate Lloyd Ogilvie, pastor of Faithful Central Bible Church Bishop Ken Ulmer, actor Dean Jones and more. There will also be 39 different workshops covering a range of leadership issues from “How to Reach the Latin Wave” to “I Love Church Council Meetings” to “How to Apply for Ministry Funding.”

The convention will also feature more than 75 exhibitors and a free Internet cafe powered by faithHighway. Don’t forget to bring your ExpoCard, which came with your registration. Use the ExpoCard for fast check in, access to workshops and access to exhibitor information in the exhibit hall.

Jack Hayford and the executive team would like to welcome those who arrive early to attend a Sunday morning service led by Jack Hayford. The service will include worship and communion and begins at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 28.

If you haven’t yet registered, you can do so online, by phone, fax or on site. More information about the 2006 Foursquare convention is available online at FoursquareConvention.com, including an invitation from Pastor Jack Hayford, a complete schedule and registration information.
