In November 2012, the board of directors for The Foursquare Church announced a restructuring of the Foursquare Foundation board and affirmed that grant application deadlines and processes for 2013 would be available in December.

The Foursquare Foundation awards grants twice each year beginning in January and again in July. Approximately 65 percent of Foundation grants fund international projects, and 35 percent of grants are awarded to U.S.-based ministries, according to the Foundation’s website.

Foundation Grant Manager Joseph Wainer says that Foursquare Foundation staff is prepared to answer questions regarding the application process and guidelines for 2013. Detailed information on the grant cycles is listed below.

The Foursquare Foundation was founded in 2005 with a portion of the proceeds following the sale of KFSG, the radio station once owned and operated by The Foursquare Church. Projects funded through Foursquare Foundation grants have resulted in 6.5 million decisions for Christ since 2005. In addition, 180,000 leaders have been trained for Christian service, and nearly 7,000 churches have been planted worldwide.
