In the wake of a devestating EF-4 tornado that ripped through Moore, Okla., on Monday, May 20, leaving at least 24 dead, Foursquare Chaplains International Disaster Relief Ministry (FCI-DRM) alongside Foursquare Relief and Compassion are already assessing the needs of people in the area. Chad Isenhart from Relief and Compassion will join Chaplain Donny Sims in Oklahoma today to assess the area and provide immediate response.

To date, no Foursquare churches or Foursquare pastors have been reported as harmed. There are two Foursquare churches located in nearby Oklahoma City.

Hope City (Oklahoma City First Foursquare Church) is setting up to respond to local needs. Hope City’s senior pastor, John DeVere, is an FCI-DRM-trained chaplain.

Updates will be posted as The Foursquare Church is able to get on the ground and assist those in need. Please join us in prayer for those facing great loss.
