The Foursquare Church has added four members to the board of directors to help guide the management and missional effectiveness of the Foursquare movement.

Corporate Secretary and Vice President of Administrative Operations Adam Davidson commended the new members for their willingness to serve and help guide the church into the future.

“One of the reasons for our effectiveness as a church is our strong belief that we are a family, working together to advance the Great Commission,” says Adam. “And like any family, it takes input from all the members to succeed.”

Selected by a vote of their districts’ credentialed ministers this spring, the new directors are already active as nonvoting observers. Their five-year terms officially begin on Sept. 1, 2024.

The new directors include two women and two men. Learn more about their backgrounds and why they look forward to serving with the board of directors.

“I also find satisfaction in taking theological principles and applying them practically, as well as using them as guiding principles in decision-making,” Juniece explains.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in organizational communications from Oral Roberts University (ORU) and a Master of Arts in theological studies from Life Pacific University (LPU). Juniece is an adjunct professor on LPU’s extension campus in Christiansburg, teaching biblical interpretation and application.

Alexis Glaze, assisting minister, Life Church (Angleton Foursquare Church) in Angleton, Texas, Central District

Alexis Glaze

Alexis serves as logistics coordinator, teaching pastor and young adults pastor at Life Church (Angleton Foursquare Church) in Angleton, Texas, about 45 miles south of Houston. She is also NextGen coordinator for the Central South Region.

Alexis is excited to serve as a Foursquare board member for several reasons, starting with learning more about what God is doing across The Foursquare Church both in the U.S. and worldwide.

“Serving on the board has provided me an opportunity to gain insights on what our different churches might need in order to be better resourced,” she states. “And being on the board has allowed me to share my unique perspective from the field and be a voice for my district.”

Named the top 2016 ORU undergraduate theology graduate, Alexis holds a Bachelor of Arts in church ministry and leadership, with a minor in nonprofit business. She shares the Sunday pulpit with her husband, Grant, and senior pastor Cere Muscarella. Alexis and Grant have two sons, Graham and Leo.

Brandon Ahu, lead pastor, Metro Christian Church (Honolulu Metropolitan Foursquare Church) in Honolulu, Pacific District

Brandon Ahu

Brandon is the lead pastor of Metro Christian Church (Honolulu Metropolitan Foursquare Church) in Honolulu. He is joining the board after a two-year term (2021-2023) as the Pacific District’s representative for young leaders on the Foursquare cabinet. Brandon’s father, Elwin Ahu is an outgoing Foursquare board member who just completed nine years of service to the board. Brandon expresses excitement about the chance to serve the entire Foursquare church, not just his church or district.

“I am open to serving where I am needed on the board,” Brandon says. “I am good at galvanizing people toward a common goal, having faith to believe for what God is doing, and encouraging the best out of people on our team.”

The Foursquare pastor says members need to know that the board is made up of practitioners who are in the field doing ministry weekly. After attending his first meeting in late June, Brandon says he found so much to take in as he got acquainted with other board members.

“I was grateful to be warmly welcomed and excited to serve with Spirit-filled leaders from across the country,” Brandon adds.

Brandon is a graduate of the University of Southern California and Fuller Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Kara, are the parents of two “awesome” children.

Jon McIntosh, co-lead pastor, Lompoc Foursquare Church in Lompoc, Calif., Western District

Jon McIntosh

Jon is co-lead pastor (with his wife Wendy) of Lompoc Foursquare Church in Lompoc, Calif. In his 20-plus years of ministry, he has served as a police chaplain, community engagement activator, area pastor and District Advisory Council member. He is currently a national panelist and coach on the Foursquare licensing team.

“I am not usually the first to see a solution, but I have been told that I ask the kind of questions that help us arrive there,” says Jon, the son of Foursquare church planters. “I tend to see things through a prophetic lens and often have a sense of direction to move in before the way is fully clear.”

Describing himself as passionate about women in ministry, NextGen and minority empowerment, Jon hopes to serve in a role that furthers those objectives. However, he is happy to serve in any capacity that will move the mission forward.

Jon is a graduate of Occidental College in Los Angeles, with concurrent Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and comparative literature, and German language and literature. He earned a B.A. in biblical studies from Seattle Bible College.

He and Wendy have been married for 26 years and have two adult children serving alongside them in ministry.
