Tom and Ronda FergusonTom and Ronda Ferguson Foursquare pastor and former Northwest district supervisor Dr. Thomas S. Ferguson went to be with the Lord on May 20. He was 65.

Pastor Tom received his Foursquare international license in 1968 and was ordained in 1971; he served the Foursquare church well for more than 35 years. He began serving at New Life Center (Everett Foursquare Church) in Everett, Wash. in 1974. He was then appointed to the Northwest district as supervisor in 1994 and has served as senior pastor at Hope Foursquare Church (Snohomish Foursquare Church) in Snohomish, Wash., since 2002.

Interim President Glenn Burris Jr. said: “Tom was a model leader in our Foursquare family. The Old Testament prophet Micah described Tom well when he identified these three characteristics: to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God! Debbie and I are deeply saddened by Tom’s death, and we join the rest of our Foursquare family in expressing our love and support for Ronda and the Ferguson family.”

Dave Veach, who serves as Pastor Tom’s district supervisor in the Northwest District added: “Tom was a man of prayer who was a father to many in the faith. The evangelistic passion of this unassuming man impacted many lives, and his influence has been felt throughout the Northwest District and beyond. We will miss him greatly.”

Pastor Tom is survived by his wife, Ronda, and their four adult children Andrew, Amy, Joshua and Matthew. Please pray for Pastor Tom’s family and church during this difficult time.
