On Thursday, March 31, 2011, Rev. Ella L. Clark passed from this life into the presence of our Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Howard Clark, and one grandson. She is survived by three daughters, Johanne Finley (Richard), Joyce Wing (Dave), Aimee Jenkins (Joe); six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Sister Clark served churches in Ohio and California. From 1961 through 1980, Sister Clark ministered in the Eastern District Office, assisting her husband as he served as district supervisor; she competently fulfilled various roles as necessary. She touched hundreds of lives with her gracious approach to serving the Lord and those who had been commended to her care.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, April 9, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Dover Foursquare Gospel Church in Dover, Ohio. Please pray for Sister Clark’s family during this time of grief.
