Some members in Annette McCabe Hammond’s congregation took a step of faith, and opened their homes and hearts to a Muslim refugee family. What resulted were deep friendships, and the family opening up to hearing about God and going to church. Many refugees are desperately lonely and bewildered by American culture when they first arrive, and having a host family is an incredible blessing.
