An email was sent out November 3, 2025 about district regional updates for 2026. These updates will go into effect February 1, 2026.
Please watch this message from District Supervisor Antonio Sims:
Looking ahead — Our next five years
As we look toward the next five years, we are poised and ready to expand our mission and take new territory for Jesus.
Our strategic focus: aligned with President Randy’s 5 year vision:
- People of His presence
- Passing the flame to rising leaders
- Possessing the land for kingdom expansion
To pursue this vision, we are strategizing, restructuring and realigning—positioning our district for greater collaboration and kingdom impact.
Intentional shifts to support this vision – To better position our district for health, collaboration and kingdom impact, we are making several strategic shifts:
Geographic region + area shift
We are moving from six to five regions and adjusting regional and area boundaries to strengthen alignment and collaboration.

Regional pastor shifts
The regional pastor role is being refocused toward strategic leadership, pioneering initiatives and kingdom expansion. Each regional pastor was invited to prayerfully discern whether to continue or conclude in this next season based on the new structure and focus.
After prayerful consideration, Pam Wold and Deborah Tamez have chosen to conclude their regional pastor roles at the end of their current terms, which will end on January 31, 2026. We are deeply grateful for Pam and Deborah’s faithful service and their lasting impact across the district.
After prayerful consideration and collaboration, Regional Pastor Loren Houltberg, along with the District Supervisory Team, have concluded that 2026 will be Loren’s final year as Regional Pastor. Throughout 2026, Loren will continue to serve as Regional Pastor for South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas, while also serving in an interim capacity for Colorado, providing guidance and care as the state transitions from the leadership of Deborah Tamez. Together, these four states comprise the newly formed Central High Plains Region. During this year, Loren will train and mentor his successor, who has already been selected and will be announced in due time. In this way, 2026 will serve as both a transition year for Loren and a preparation year for the next Central High Plains Regional Pastor, ensuring a smooth handoff in 2027.
