Located in the Echo Park area of Los Angeles, the Center for Spiritual Renewal at House on the Hill (CSR House on the Hill) provides rest and respite to Foursquare pastors and their spouses.
CSR House on the Hill consists of a fully furnished three-story home located less than a mile from Angelus Temple and the Parsonage of Aimee Semple McPherson. Foursquare ministers, along with their spouses, can get away and enjoy stillness and silence as they seek to spend time with God.
The accommodations at House on the Hill are available to licensed ministers and their spouses for one week each year at no cost. Currently, in-person counseling is not available at House on the Hill. This location is unable to accommodate children of any age at this time.

Foursquare ministers are provided, free of charge, up to six nights and seven days of accommodations. Every Foursquare pastor, along with his or her spouse, can stay in one of the five fully furnished bedrooms at House on the Hill.
- Two kitchens for shared use
- Sitting room, sunroom and living area
- Linens, towels and free WiFi
- Bathrooms for shared use
There is no cost for a licensed Foursquare minister, as well as his or her spouse, to stay for up to one week per year.
Every licensed minister receives a free week’s stay at CSR each year, so your housing costs for the week are completely covered. You are responsible for any transportation to CSR, your food/meals, and any other supplies or personal items you may need during your stay.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in Los Angeles is 20 miles away.
Additional airports in the Greater Los Angeles Area are also within a reasonable driving distance:
- Long Beach Airport (LGB) in Long Beach, Calif. (1 hour away)
- Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) in Burbank, Calif. (35 minutes away)
- John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Santa Ana, Calif. (90 minutes away)
CSR is not designed as a vacation destination. It is dedicated to renewal: spiritual, emotional, physical and relational. Credentialed ministers and their spouses are welcome. The House on the Hill is not able to accommodate children at this time.
Currently, no in-person counseling is available at CSR House on the Hill. The facility is meant to provide ministers and their spouses with a place to simply rest and relax. However, if you would like to pursue virtual counseling during your stay, please email Paul Kuzma to learn more.
