On Tuesday, April 26, 2011, Rev. Betty L. Wymore passed from this life into the presence of our Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Fred Wymore. She is survived by a daughter, Diane Wymore Chapman; two sons, Fred L. Wymore and Ron Wymore; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Sister Wymore served churches throughout California, in Santa Rosa, Woodland, Fresno and El Monte. From 1971 through 1994, she ministered in the Western District Office, assisting her husband as he served as district supervisor; she competently fulfilled various roles as necessary. She touched hundreds of lives as she faithfully served the Lord and ministered to those who had been commended to her care.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Wymore family,” said General Supervisor Tammy Dunahoo. “Betty served the Foursquare family for over 65 years—what a tremendous legacy she leaves. Her dedication and heart to minister is an inspiration to all of us.”
