Engaging the Holy Spirit on Sundays

Part of the Pentecostal ethos of The Foursquare Church is the belief that the Holy Spirit has a major role to play in our lives and in our churches. How do you actually live out this belief? How can you engage with the Holy Spirit in a service in a healthy way that is not weird or manipulative? In this workshop, first presented at Foursquare Connection 2025, Pastor Jeremy Mayol encourages pastors and leaders to engage with the Holy Spirit in three areas: (1) their personal lives; (2) their church culture; and (3) their Sunday services. All three are necessary for a healthy engagement with the Holy Spirit. Jeremy offers practical questions to consider, stories from his own church and a few practical tips to help leaders work with the Holy Spirit in every aspect of their ministry.
