Gary Matsdorf, Foursquare’s global education coordinator, explains how the global Foursquare movement is seeking to strengthen its efforts to build mature disciples of Jesus in every nation. He and his team have developed Discipleship and Leadership Training (DLT) as a tool and a philosophy for helping churches in every nation create growing disciples.
In this workshop, first presented at Foursquare Connection 2024, Gary explains what DLT is, the four pathways they have developed thus far, and demonstrates what learning through this method looks like. He explains that discipleship is not a program, but something that people have to experience on a personal level. DLT is one tool to help churches do this.
