January 6, 2007 will mark a new tradition in The Foursquare Church. The men of our local churches will gather on the first Saturday of the New Year at work, at home, in their church facilities as well as walk the streets of their communities and pray. This day will find us answering the call of 1Timothy 2:8 for men everywhere to pray.

During the past month, Foursquare Men’s Ministry has received e-mails from many church leaders who are downloading the prayer agenda from the web site and are preparing their men to be a part of this day. A short video is now available to use as an announcement about this “Day of Prayer.” Jesus made it very clear that we are to pray to our Father and ask that His kingdom come, His will be done.

We are asking men everywhere to pray “that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.” Men of The Foursquare Church, let us call on God to move in our hearts, to strengthen our families, our churches and communities, our nation and world. “Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissention” (1 Timothy 2:8, NASB).

was founded in 1923, and we have been growing leaders ever since.
