Col. Lonnie Barker, Deputy Command Chaplain for U.S. Air Forces in Europe (USAFE), Ramstein Air Base in Germany, died Nov. 8, 2009. He was 53.

Colonel Barker was in the Air Force for 23 years and was serving as Foursquare Chaplaincy Coordinator for Foursquare Air Force chaplains at his time of death. He previously served as divisional superintendent for Air Force chaplains. Lonnie leaves behind his wife, Chris, and their four adult children: Jeremy, Jason, Jennifer and Tiffany.

Norma P. Mourer, widow of former Northwest District supervisor Roy H. Mourer, died Nov. 1, 2009. She was 92.

Sister Mourer graduated from Life Bible College in 1940 and was ordained in 1941. She served Foursquare churches in Montebello, Calif., Camas and Olympia, Wash., and in Hillsboro and Portland, Ore. The Mourers were supervisors of the historic Northwest District from 1953 until Roy’s death in 1969. She was honored in 1991 for 50 years of service to The Foursquare Church and again in 2000 for 60 years of faithful leadership.  Norma is survived by her adult daughter Becky.
