Foursquare Presidential Inauguration 2020

The board of directors of The Foursquare Church has called for an interim convention to occur online on May 31, 2020, at 4 p.m. PST. The purpose and only item of business will be the administration of the oath of office and the prayerful installation of Randy Remington as president of The Foursquare Church.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the board canceled Foursquare Connection 2020, which was to be held in Denver, and instead has called for this interim convention in accordance with Foursquare Bylaw Section 5.1.B, which will be an online event. In order to establish a quorum for the business session, per our bylaws, you must register before viewing the event on May 31. Registration will open at 3:30 p.m. PST on May 31; there will be no cost for registration.

This event will be exclusively available to view online at ConnectionLive.org. Plan to join the page a few minutes early in order to register.

Bylaws also outline that on the first day of the fourth month following the close of convention, our president-elect will take office. Therefore, Randy Remington will become the seventh elected president of The Foursquare Church on Sept. 1, 2020, at which time Glenn Burris Jr. will retire after a year of fruitful transition. In the coming days, we will announce opportunities for our Foursquare family to honor Glenn and Debbie’s faithful service to The Foursquare Church.

Plan to join us for the inauguration of Randy Remington on May 31, at 4 p.m. PST, at which time Randy will take the oath of office. This online event will include an address from our president-elect following his inauguration.

We look forward to seeing you at Foursquare Connection 2021 in San Antonio, where we will reaffirm Randy Remington as our president and celebrate being together again.
